49ers Women's Basketball Team Supports Breast Cancer Awareness

Support the 49ers women’s basketball team in their efforts to raise awareness for the WBCA/Kay Yow Breast Cancer Fund. Attend the 49ers women’s basketball game on Wed, February 10 at 7 pm as they take on St. Bonaventure in their annual Pink Zone game to fight breast cancer. All fans are encouraged to wear PINK to the game and the first 750 fans will receive a FREE pink pom pom!!

Mobile Mammography Vehicle- A few time slots are still open for the mobile mammography unit that will be on campus on Wed, Feb. 10th- call 704-403-1729 to schedule your screening today! The mobile mammography unit is sponsored by Carolinas HealthCare System.

You can help 49ers women’s basketball raise awareness and money for breast cancer in three easy ways.

1. Eat at Jersey Mike’s on Thursday, February 4th between the hours of 3 pm and 8 pm- Jersey Mike’s is donating 15% of their sales to the WBCA/Kay Yow Breast Cancer Fund on behalf of the 49ers.

2. Purchase a 49ers basketball Pink Zone t-shirt for only $5 at any of the upcoming 49ers basketball games between now and Feb. 10 or at the 49ers Ticket Office window during normal business hours- net proceeds from the sale of the shirts will benefit the WBCA/Kay Yow Breast Cancer Fund. Payment for the t-shirts should be cash or checks written to the Charlotte 49ers Athletic Foundation. The t-shirts are sponsored by Smoothie King.
