The University's gift recognition societies honor contributors who make annual and lifetime gifts to UNC Charlotte. Membership exemplifies the commitment of an ever-growing circle of leaders committed to supporting our institution’s growth and development. Membership in these societies is based on overall giving to the university and does not preclude membership in other university giving clubs.

The Lifetime Giving Program consists of the following giving societies: 

Bonnie Cone Society
Individuals who have made provisions for the University in their estate plans

Colvard Lifetime Giving Society
Lifetime cumulative gifts of $1,000,000 and above

Visionaries Lifetime Giving Society
Lifetime cumulative gifts of $500,000 to $999,999

Innovators Lifetime Giving Society
Lifetime cumulative gifts of $100,000 to $499,999

Founders Lifetime Giving Society
Lifetime cumulative gifts of $50,000 to $99,999

Chancellors Society
Lifetime cumulative gifts of $25,000 to $49,999
